Role Of Isotine Eye Drop In Campaign Against Blindness}

By | December 29, 2016

Submitted by: Chris George

Cataract is a very common eye disease in older people, caused by the clouding of the natural lens which adversely affects the vision.

The lens is made of water and protein. The protein is arranged in a precise way that keeps the lens clear and lets light pass through it. But as we grow old, some of the protein may clump together and start to cloud a small area of the lens. This is a cataract, and over time, it may grow larger and cloud more of the lens, making it harder to see

There are different types of cataract include Congenital, Traumatic, Senile, Diabetic juvenile etc. In modern allopath, surgery is being carried out all over the world for cataract patients. However according to Recent Research in Ayurveda; thousands of patients of cataract have been cured by Dr.Basu’s Isotine Eye Drop

It is unfortunate that India tops the list of blind people (1.2 million) in the world. To control this problem, the government of India spent millions under national blindness control programme to carry out cataract operation every year 4 to 5 million people suffering from cataract become blind who have to die as handicapped on account of lack of facilities for cataract surgery Recently Dandona and Coworkers (2000) reported in American Journal of Ophthalmology that about 22% patients loss eye sight even after cataract operation & rest of the patients loss his vision due to any causes of Retinal Degeneration after 1-4 years. According to WHO, It seems difficult to control blindness by the year 2020.

In view of above considerations, the challenge before ophthalmologists is how to solve the big problem of blindness posed on account of cataract. Several incurable eye diseases like Macular Degeneration, Color Blindness, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinitis pigmentosa etc. add to the magnitude of the problem of blindness.

A ray of hope has come from alternative system of medicine where Ayurveda herbs have given wonderful results using several Ayurveda herbs; it has been possible to develop an Eye Drop ISOTINE Which has been tested over thousands of patients during 26 years and found highly effective to cure not only immature cataract but also incurable eye diseases like Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Color Blindness, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Myopia , Hypermetropia etc. mentioned above Isotine Eye Drop has since been registered by U.P Govt. Patented by Govt. of India since than the manufacturing company Jagat Pharma has been declared G.M.P. Certified by ISO.9001:2000, Shri Ram Institute for Industrial Research New Delhi, CDRI & CIMAP. and marketed all over the world. And being regularly used at Dr.Basus Eye Hospital and Centre for Cataract cure without operation Bareilly, several clinics centers in India at Haryana , Delhi, U.P/Rajasthan , Punjab, Mumbai, Kolkata etc. have been treating patients of immature cataract and incurable eye diseases by Isotine Eye Drop & other oral medicines.

YouTube Preview Image

It is well known that diabetic patients suffer from Diabetic Retinopathy and many of them develop cataract as well. Isotine Eye Drop takes care of both immature Cataract and Diabetic Retinopathy.

Recently, Prof. I.S. Roy (2001) informed that patients of immature cataract treated with Isotine Eye Drop felt very happy in the seven months trials. Lions International USA have already conferred sight first Excellence Award, several other awards like Ayurveda Ratna (Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad) Research Award (NIMA) , Rashtriya Gaurav Award , New Delhi) Gold Medal & Distinguished Service Award (Heart care foundation of India ), Atulniya Netra Chikitsa Award (Bareilly) have also been given to Dr.Basu for playing a major role in implementing a significant community project to prevent blindness. .

Economic Aspects

Presently, the Govt. is spending @ Rs. 700/- for every Cataract operation for reimbursement to voluntary organization plus the expense on salaries etc. of Eye specialist. The charges for IOL and pheco operations range from $ 5,00 to $ 5,000 for correcting vision in one eye. Compared to it the treatment by Isotine Eye Drop (full course $45 at the market rate) is too cheap and simple, for correcting vision in both the eyes.

Action plan for campaign against blindness

1. The eye specialist may continue to operate cataract for fully mature cases only.

2. Immature cataract and incurable eye diseases may be treated by Isotine Eye Drop (they

Need not be operated now).

3. To speed up, network of cataract centers (para medicals) may be opened to screen

Segregate cases of immature and mature cataract.

4. The govt. may be persuaded by ophthalmologists and media to adopt Isotine Eye Drop

for treatment of immature cataract and incurable eye diseases.

5. Voluntary organizations like lions, Rotary etc. may organize Eye Camps and Mobile

Units in a big way to fight against blindness by distributing Isotine Eye drop.

The author expresses gratitude to my friend Dr.O.N.Agarwal, M.Sc., Ph.D for helpful suggestions in preparing this manuscript and to Prof. I.S.Roy, Director, Netra Sevashram, and Kolkata for encouragements.

Ethics debate surrounds surgery to stunt disabled girl’s growth

Ethics debate surrounds surgery to stunt disabled girl’s growth

By |

Friday, January 5, 2007

An ethical controversy has surged in the United States and elsewhere around nine-year-old Ashley X (her family name has not been released). The disabled girl was operated upon at the request of her parents, to prevent her from growing, menstruating and developing breasts. The parents, who wish to remain anonymous, explain their situation on a blog entitled The “Ashley Treatment”. There have been over 1000 reactions on the blog so far.

Ashley suffers a condition termed static encephalopathy with marked global developmental deficits of unknown etiology, which means brain damage of unknown cause leading to a kind of static condition. She can make sounds, move her arms and kick her legs, but she cannot change her position, eat, walk, talk etc. Many of these children are in poor health and die young, but Ashley is in good health. For all of these functions she depends on her caregivers. Most of the day she passes watching her surrounding, lying on a pillow. Her parents call her their “Pillow Angel”, “since she is so sweet and stays right where we place her—usually on a pillow.”

Ashley can continue to delight in being held in our arms and will be moved and taken on trips more frequently and will have more exposure to activities and social gatherings.

-Ashley’s Mom and Dad

Ashley’s parents want to keep her at home and care for her themselves, and they want to guarantee their daughter’s quality of life. To this end, they say, Ashley underwent several surgical procedures and medical treatments during a period of three years. To attenuate her growth, Ashley was given high doses of the hormone estrogen. Ashley now measures 4ft 5 (1m 35cm) and weighs around 75 lbs (34 kg), which is below her expected length and weight. Her low body weight and size would improve her comfort, and at the same time facilitate the work of her caregivers.

Surgery to remove her uterus (a procedure called a hysterectomy) and breast buds were performed, so Ashley does not menstruate and will not develop breasts, both of which parents think only would cause her discomfort. Since high estrogen levels can cause menstrual bleeding and breast development, the surgery was also meant to limit these effects. She also underwent surgery to remove her appendix, because it would be difficult to diagnose appendicitis given Ashley’s low communication possibilities.

Designed by sports architectural firm Ellerbe Becket, the fieldhouse will hold about 3,400 fans for basketball, volleyball and will also be used as a venue for college and community events.

The state of the art facility will also house Hope’s department of kinesiology which includes athletic training, exercise science and physical education. In addition to the construction of the fieldhouse, Hope added a new science center in 2003 and renovated the Peale Science Center for ’04-05.

Nfl Week 16 Waiver Wire Pickups | Nfl Football Betting

More Detail Here:

NFL Week 16 Waiver-Wire Pickups:

It’s all about the running game this week on our fantasy football waiver-wire pickups. A few notable runners popped out last weekend, but that is about it for waivers as we head into the Super Bowl for many fantasy football leagues.

Below we have the top players you might want to pay attention to on the wire. Running Backs

Jerome Harrison (Browns)

You wouldn’t think a running back that just had the third-highest single-game rushing total ever (with three touchdowns to boot) would be on fantasy football waiver wires, but Jerome Harrison may be available in your league.

A few weeks ago Harrision’s name started popping up again as a fantasy relevant name because Jamal Lewis was officially announced as being done for the season. Since the Browns still had the Chiefs and Raiders on their schedule, it only made sense to grab Harrison off the wire.

YouTube Preview Image

Then, on Thursday night football in Week 14, Harrison saw rookie Chris Jennings take the majority of touches.

Many fantasy owners gave up on Harrison once more and probably cut him going into this week. If Harrison is available his is a no-brainer to pick up with a great matchup this week against the Raiders.

Michael Bush (Raiders)

It looks like the Raiders are finally solid on letting Michael Bush be the main ball carrier on this team once again. Bush had a big game against the Broncos and should have another solid fantasy football performance against the Browns next week.

With the Raiders actually playing well, the running game is back, and Bush should have plenty of opportunities to produce this weekend at

Sportsbook Online.

Justin Forsett (Seahawks)

It looks like Julius Jones suffered another rib injury this week against the Buccaneers, and that means Justin Forsett may be the feature back next week. Unfortunately, Forsett doesn’t have a great matchup against the Packers, but he has shown he can get the job done.

Forsett will make for a decent flex option this week if he has the job to himself. Defense/ ST

49ers Defense

If you’re looking for a solid defense to help you win a fantasy football championship, look no further than the 49ers defense. This week the Niners play the Lions, and next week they play the Rams.

This is the best two-game matchup any fantasy defense will have, hands down. Look for the 49ers to win both games and for their defense to play a big part in the reason for their success.

Earthquake, tsunami combo caused devastation in Pichilemu, Chile

By |

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Pichilemu, Chile – Last Saturday, Chile was hit by a 8.8 earthquake. Many coastal towns were also hit by a tsunami, and Pichilemu was one of them. Its inhabitants were surprised by the giant waves that destroyed the most of the costanera and that reached the city square.

Pichilemu, that means in Mapudungun language small forest, is one of the most famous Chilean resort towns in the central zone of Chile. It is recurrently visited by surfers from all the world, because the Punta de Lobos beach is considered one of the best for surf practice worldwide.

Central Pichilemu was not severely damaged by the earthquake, but the tsunami caused significant destruction. The Fishermen Creek, located in front of the beach, was completely destroyed, and its machines are now unusable. Most of the Agustín Ross architecture that characterized the city, three of them being National Monuments of Chile, were damaged. The Agustín Ross Mirador, a famous location in front of the beach, located less than 200 meters from the Fisherman Creek, was completely destroyed. Its famous balustrades were washed away or thrown asunder. Many restaurants, kiosks and a circus were affected by the tsunami.

The rural parts of Pichilemu, like Ciruelos, Rodeillo and Espinillo feature houses constructed from adobe. Many were more than 100-years old, and were destroyed or are now uninhabitable.

The most powerful aftershock was produced almost 40 kilometers in front of the coast of Pichilemu, at the 03:10 local time (07:10 UTC) in March 2, with an intensity of 5.5 in the Richter scale, according to the USGS.

The Intendant of the O’Higgins Region, Juan Núñez, had a meeting with the Governor of the Cardenal Caro Province, Loreto Puebla, the Mayor of Pichilemu, Roberto Córdova, and naval and military authorities, juntas de vecinos representatives. They decided to leave the Carabineros police force to maintain the security of the city.

On The Road Again: Best Ultrabook For Travel

On the Road Again: Best Ultrabook for Travel

Janice Mecham

The new technology of the ultrabook is making waves for frequent travelers. With their slim, lightweight design and long lasting battery life, ultrabooks may be the perfect device for the frequent traveler, whether business or pleasure. These slim new devices slip right into your carryon, briefcase or backpack. The new technology is morphing the old school netbook into the ultrabook and is definitely a focus for all laptop companies.

What is an ultrabook? With its name being a registered trademark of Intel, a device must meet certain requirements in order to be classified as an ultrabook. According to The Economic Times, it must be around a $1,000, have a minimum battery life of five hours, Intel Core iSeries processor, flash-based SSD storage, less than 20mm thickness and weigh less than 1.4kg to meet the minimum criteria and be named an ultrabook.

Newer versions, still aiming at the same traveler market, are said to have a 13-hour battery life, Intel WiDi technology, touchscreens, and a lower price, around $799, in order to drive market sales up and away from tablets. With these set standards,

what makes the best ultrabook

Which ultrabook should you buy? Finding the best ultrabook is going to be based on what fits your specific needs in size, performance and budget. There are many options for all these criteria.

Many travelers are concerned primarily with size and portability. Most do not ask much from their device performance wise since they use them mainly for writing documents, creating presentations, spreadsheets and a few minor applications. This device needs to be compact, light and easy to slide into a carry-on bag while traveling. An ultrabook with an11.6-inch screen is lightweight (usually around two to three pounds), compact, and still comes equipped with interesting features.

One of the more budget friendly ultrabooks in the 11.6-inch category is the Asus VivoBook X202E, priced at around $500. This device comes with all the necessary ports, including the Ethernet that many devices lack, and packs an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD, plus Windows 8.

The 11.6-inch Lenovo Yoga 11s also runs Windows 8 on an Intel Core CPU up to an i7, and only weighs about 3.1 pounds. It has a battery life of about six hours.

Apple\’s 11.6-inch MacBook Air Comes starts at $999. It has a battery life of about five hours, a great keyboard and one of the best trackpads. However, it does feature a regular HD screen, so no touch screen models are available yet.

There are many options when it comes to picking the best ultrabook for you. Whether you are in the market for a lightweight, portable or a high performance based device, the new ultrabooks are a great option. Know what you want and need in a laptop and then choose one for yourself based on your criteria and budget.

Day of attacks continue in Israel and Lebanon

Day of attacks continue in Israel and Lebanon

By |

Thursday, July 13, 2006

Fighting continued in Israel and Lebanon as Israel attacked targets in Lebanon using aircrafts and ships. Rockets were fired from Lebanon and landed on the Israeli side of the border, Thursday. Israel called their military action “Operation Just Reward”.

The clashes follow a Hezbollah raid into Israel which they called “Truthful Promise” in which Hezbollah claimed to have captured two Israeli soldiers. Israel said the men were kidnapped.

Israeli aircraft launched missiles at Beirut international airport and damaged runways and fuel stores. Additional targets were attacked, including 18 bridges, and a Hezbollah run TV station, Al-Manar, which continued to broadcast after being targeted, but later went partially off air.

45 Lebanese civilians and two soldiers were reported killed as a result of Israeli overnight raids and 103 people were injured. In some areas Israeli planes had dropped leaflets to warn residents to stay away from Hezbollah buildings.

Over 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel Thursday, which the Israeli Army says are the acts of Hezbollah. Two Israeli civilians were reported killed over 100 injured.

The Lebanese road communications network was targeted: 18 bridges were damaged and early on Friday the highway linking Beirut and Damascus was hit by five Israeli missiles. The highway is the only route out of the country after the airport was shut down. Witnesses said that the road was free from traffic when the missiles hit.

In a television interview, Wednesday July 12, Brigadier Gen. Dan Halutz had told Israel’s Channel 10 that if the Israeli soldiers were not returned Israel would “turn Lebanon’s clock back 20 years”. He also said of Lebanon “nothing is safe.”
